Updates

Well hey, it's been a while. What has happened since my last text entry? I beat genkai 1 one Saturday evening after a long 9-10 hour session. I leveled up alchemy to 50+ (and now it's more or less my only source of income... no more mining for Amelante! Er, I mean Ayachaacha!) One day, as a level 23 white mage, I was invited to a Japanese party. A few hours later, I left as a level 26 white mage (i.e. one that can Raise!) I completed mission 5-1. I gained a few more levels (lv 54 as of this writing) and will be looking for a genkai 2 alliance soon. And lastly, I managed to acquire Garuda and Shiva through the new solo battle quests!

In fact acquiring avatars has been my obsession for the past few days. My success rate is pretty horrible though — only 2 successes out of 6 battles. With the amount of potions/foods required for each run, you can imagine how costly it's becoming. I don't think I'll be satisfied until I acquire all the avatars this way though. :) Good thing I'm an alchemist... Hi-Ethers are still out of reach, but at least I can synth Hi-Potions for myself...
