Amelante's Solo Adventures in Castle Zvahl Baileys (BLM AF2!)

After I warped my party members home (thanks again Cymry, Peorth, Vermin and Revelin!), I invised myself and proceded to the interior of the castle. Dodging the Ahrimans actually turned out to be quite easy - for one person. Despite their big eye, they have quite the case of tunnel vision. At first, I tried to enter the central corridor through the far east side. I ended up aggroing an Ahriman. Knowing I couldn't win the fight, I just ran and aggroed 2 more. (I thought I could make it to the Keep zone.) And then... I ran up against an iron gate that was very much un-openable. :( I tried Escaping, got interrupted. Healed myself, used manafont, began casting Escape again... then died as an Ahriman Drained me to death.

I respawned, flew to Bastok (couldn't find someone to port me), and outpost teleported to Valdeaunia. Then set I my HP at the outpost there. (And because it's owned by Sandy, the port and HP cost me 3.2k :( ) I made my way to the castle w/o incident, and made my way inside w/o incident. This time, I went to the far west side... and found I couldn't enter the central corridor. 8D I accidently stepped too close to quadav territory w/o Sneak and was eventually killed again.

I made my way back inside again and got myself to that central spot (where there were all those yags and the 2 ahrimans). The ahrimans were looking away, so I just slipped by and finally got up to the central corridor. (There were no iron gates blocking me this time!) I just ran and ran and finally made it to the Keep zone. :D

Inside the keep was pretty easy... I admit the guide was quite helpful in locating the correct Ore Door. The only problem was that the room was full of gobbies and I had to uninvis to open the door. So I waited, and waited... until all the gobbies were looking away. Then I uninvised and quickly used the key. I got a quick 2-3 second cutscene and then found myself getting whacked by 3 gobbies. 8D Luckily, I had Stoneskin and Blink up and I just Warped away without a single hit landing. :D

Then I walked to Jeuno, all the way from Xarcabard. Flew to Windurst, completed the quest, and started AF3. :)
