Reborn...
..as Amelante the Warlock. My brother and I abandoned relatively high-level characters (level 40+) on Destromath to start anew on Kilrogg, where most of the fluppers had already amassed. The move from PvP to PvE was quite welcome... for on Destromath, I began to get distracted (and frustrated) by the thrill/curse of PvP. At least on a PvE server, I can choose when I want to PvP. :)
From level 12 on up, we quested and instanced together, which was quite fun (though probably not the most efficient way to gain XP). We've had many interesting PvP encounters (mainly instigated by Husker)... all of which, so far, we've come out on top. :) (The latest was an encounter with a mage and priest our level, in the Barrens. Lesson 1: Do not let the enemy choose the time to strike. Lesson 2: Do not waste half your mana trying find a stealthed enemy while flagged. :) In the 21-30 tier Warsong Gulch games, though Alliance did not always win, Husker and I (and especially I... bwahaha) dominated the killing blow/honorable kill charts with our mid-field hunter-killer tactics. Sad to say, 31-40 is quite the opposite, probably because we are (were) at the bottom of the tier in levels. But hopefully that will change soon. :)
As far as guilds goes, I tried starting a Tyranny of Heaven guild on Kilrogg, but gave up due to the lack of interest from everyone else. (Everyone else, including us, found already established guilds which we could join.) I'm kinda glad. No more running guilds for me, too much drama. :) Husker and I opted to join Wandering Brotherhood which is a respectable size, is relatively organized, and has a wide array of characters levels.
Anyhow, I still have characters on Destromath and Stormreaver (though I hardly visit those servers anymore). In actuality, Alydia on Kilrogg is my main (at level 47) but I really haven't felt compelled to play her. Warlock was the very first class I wanted to play... and I equally enjoy playing hunter and warlock. But there's just something about playing an insane, gung-ho caster that's quite adept at killing... :)
