End of Times

That's what it feels like, at least. Our entire static party joined an HNM LS — SearchAndDestroy. We've only been members for a little over a week now and already we've done so much. Some of the NM hunts which I've had the privelege to take part of — Bune, Amikiri, Unger, the god item NMs, 4 of the gods of the sky (Suzaku, Seiryu, Genbu, Byakko), Hakutaku, the Bomb Queen... It's been quite busy... and also quite sad.

I've been struggling with juggling between ToH and S&D... but I've decided on a simple strategy: equip the pearl for which my current activities are relavent for. By default, I'll be in ToH... it's been working out OK, I think. But I believe some of my static-mates are spending too much time in S&D... ;) But it's a good thing, I guess... we need a solid presence in both linkshells and we definitely keep each other informed of happenings.

We've resumed leveling and it feels good again. I think I've gotten used to the leveling grind... nights that we don't xp, I've ended up calling a night early. I don't really have much else to do. I think once I do hit 75 (and assuming I do have Fenrir), I'll immediately begin work on summoner... but I won't level at the same feverish pace. I'll also continue working on my crafting skills (and work at acquiring the coveted LuShang's fishing rod).

After that, I'm not sure what else is left for me in the game... aside from finishing the story missions. I switched my allegiance back to Bastok and attained rank 9 this past weekend. Only a matter of time before I finish the Bastokan storyline. Once that's done, I'll definitely switch back to Windurst and work on that. I'd like to finish the Zilart storyline as well... not too many missions left there. And then there's Chains of Promathia...

Anyway, retirement looks near (probably the end of the year)... but quitting the game is still a long ways off. :)
