I've been noticing a decline in the population of TOH not only in the forums but also by attendance. Though 90% of the time I'm on the game I'm wearing the TOH linkshell, but apparently I must have missed out on something that happened to see that I'm the only one wearing the shell.

I may be leader of the LS but that doesn't mean I know exactly everything that's going on if no one will tell me what's going on. Unfortunately I had to find out a little bit just as the decline was drastically apparent.

This brought alot of conflicting emotions in me. Well of course there's the fact that I failed to keep TOH thriving when it was given to me. Also, there's being upset when members who were supposed to help me lead TOH disappeared when it was no longer useful (and without a word nonetheless). I am saddened that I wasn't kept informed. A joy is deep in this mix that hopefully the members found another linkshell that they have more fun with.

But I remember that I did some things I thought I could never do alone and survive as leader of TOH. Powerleveling as my bard, helping with kazham and coffer keys, support job items, even solo some AF1 monsters (after repeated sleeps and hours later). Though I wish I could have done the same with the higher AF mobs like Cymry, Sykopath, and Amelante did before for me.

With these thoughts in mind, I'm trying to assess the full situation before I'll swing TOH back into shape. I'm not giving up yet!

Hey Sakari.

Maybe you just don't remember who I am, but I did see you on the steps of the AH in Bastok and tried talking to you, and got no reply.

I'm not sure what I'm trying to say, but maybe this kind of stuff could be part of the reason ToH has seemed to have died.

I've heard a number of complaints about Heylo (not to call her out), and I can agree with them. ToH doesn't seem like the friendliest place to be at the moment, which is why I wasn't there for more than a few days, I never felt very welcome.

Every once in a while I will check back up on it, to see who's on, and usually no one is ever on, and when I do try to say 'hi' or something, I never get a reply back.

its sorta cause we don't have enough members, we can't plan any events with the amount of people we have and also not many of us can play very often so thats a couple of reasons y.

PPl just left their own paths, I left because like I said once Zatu left I kinda have no more reason to play anymore. As for the "Heylo situation," well i can tell you that I've been staticing w/ her since 33-65 and she can get under people's skin, she should have been dealt with a long time ago. Also Sakari you've been a good leader but sometimes you are not there, I know you have a life but when you are a leader of a LS, you have to notify us about your absence. Anyways most ppl went to Hyro's new LS and the higher half of the LS went to HNM LS. As for me, I've been playing WoW with my roommates. I finally graduated and as soon as I finish getting my foot surgery, I am going to move up to San Jose. I was on one night 3/27 to give out 1 gil teleports in lower Jeuno (heh gil sellers hated me for that and I got a couple 'you are da man' comments). Anyways I'll be coming on not that often (if you havent notice) since I'm going to start a new life in San Jose. Even though we left what was possilbly the best LS ever (i mean it) we'll always share the same experience of brotherhood so even though a LS did die off we must always go on with our lives.

Yeah, I did some research and you all just about nailed what took me awhile to figure out on my own. I was stupid to think that my attendance in the linkshell was enough. Things don't come to a leader, they have to find find them. To be honest, despite how often I was on TOH, I haven't witnessed anything bad about Heylo. I guess I'm just thick like that ; ;

Trust me Aquatica, I haven't forgotten you. I usually just leave my character online to sell my goodies (eventually I'll make my own cheesecake when I can get the time to level cooking).

Hey there, sorry ive been a tad absent latley, my real life is talking up a lot of time, but i do plan on getting back on. I just never see you, so i get all depressed. You should definitley keep in touch.
Dont blame yourself for the LS's decline, there wasnt really much you could do. Well, in any case, im going to be unlocking BRD very soon, and although ill never live up to your name, i am going to make it my primary job. BRD/WHM. Now i can only hope you'll give me some good pointers!

I haven't been around, so I don't know what all has happened, but I do agree with TW. Kinda hate my leaving lead to others, but all good things come to an end at some point in time.

Sakari, don't give up on it. You have everything it takes to be a great leader, and I saw that during my time there.
